R. F.
Location: United Kingdom
- I am a WebSphere product specialist with many years experience gained across a range of clients. This experience has been gained across a range of operating Systems, zOS, zVM, Linux, Unix, and Windows, and across a range of hardware architectures, zSeries, pSeries, iSeries and x86 systems. I have specialized mainly in WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ, although I have had experience of WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Portal and WebSphere Message Broker.
- Having experienced the impact and benefits of DevOps in the WebSphere arena, my current focus of interest has become the synergies that can be leveraged between open source applications such as Chef, Docker and OpenStack and the WebSphere product family.
- Prior to this I spent many years as an IMS and zOS systems consultant working on IBM mainframes for IBM, EDS, and zOS consulting houses Thesaurus, CDS and Synapse.
