Siebel Engineer – Support and Maintenance (Contractor)

Your new role:

• Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Siebel CRM applications.

• Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Implement enhancements, patches, and updates to Siebel applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize the Siebel environment.

• Participate in the deployment of Siebel releases, patches, and upgrades.

• Ensure Siebel application availability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

• Provide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders.

• Document processes, procedures, and best practices related to Siebel support and maintenance.

• Assist with the development and execution of test plans for Siebel upgrades and patches.

• Work closely with the client’s IT team to align Siebel solutions with business requirements.

What you will need:

• Proven experience as a Siebel Engineer or in a similar role supporting Siebel CRM systems.

• Strong knowledge of Siebel CRM architecture, configuration, and administration.

• Experience with Siebel Tools, Workflow, EIM, EAI, and Open UI.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving within the Siebel environment.

• Familiarity with databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and scripting languages (SQL, PL/SQL).

• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and web services in relation to Siebel.

• Excellent communication skills in English (must-have); German language skills are a plus.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to the client site in Germany.
